The institution had produced graduates who are highly placed in the society and in order to further advance the position of its graduates in the society, the institution employs modern methods in teaching and training its students. The polytechnic had structured its curricula to avail all its students with ICT and entrepreneurship skills.
“We have stocked our libraries on the three campuses of the polytechnic with current textbooks, journals and eBooks; and our laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment”.
We also take our students through the ICT and Entrepreneurship Development Programme so as to adequately equip them with employable skills and more importantly, put them in good stead to be job creators at the end of their training in the polytechnic

Twenty one suspects have been arrested in Plateau over the killings and unrest in the state - Eleven of the suspects were arrested in connection to the killings in Barkin Ladi and environs - Fourteen others were arrested at the scene of a violent protest after the killings The Nigeria Police Force, Plateau state command, has arrested 21 persons in connection with the killings and unrest in Plateau state. The Nation reports that the suspects were paraded on Monday, July 2, at the OPSH Headquarters in Jos by the media officer of the task force, Major Adam Umar and Police public relations officer Tyopev Terna. Fourteen of the suspects were arrested at the scene of the violent protest that followed the Barkin Ladi's killings while 11 others were arrested in connection with the killings
