According to Officer Yakubu O.A., a Community Police Officer in Lagos state command V.G.N., made his comment concerning the recent protest in Nigeria Police Force that it is as a result of nonchalant attitude  of the Inspector General of Police to review the Police act of the Nigeria constitution , neglecting the quota of community policing in different parts of the state and concentrating on irrelevant issues.
Officer Yakubu continued with his statement,  State Police should be highly considered for complete implementation of the policy from the president to the Inspector General and from the I.G.P. to the State Commissional and finally , to the Community Police which is the full implementation of the Policy.

Twenty one suspects have been arrested in Plateau over the killings and unrest in the state - Eleven of the suspects were arrested in connection to the killings in Barkin Ladi and environs - Fourteen others were arrested at the scene of a violent protest after the killings The Nigeria Police Force, Plateau state command, has arrested 21 persons in connection with the killings and unrest in Plateau state. The Nation reports that the suspects were paraded on Monday, July 2, at the OPSH Headquarters in Jos by the media officer of the task force, Major Adam Umar and Police public relations officer Tyopev Terna. Fourteen of the suspects were arrested at the scene of the violent protest that followed the Barkin Ladi's killings while 11 others were arrested in connection with the killings
